Gylfi Olafsson spoke at the annual Spine Tango Users’ meeting in Bern. The title of his presentation was “Register-based research on low back pain in Sweden”. The presentation discussed how registers can aid pragmatic randomized and non-randomized studies.

The paper “Persistence with denosumab and persistence with oral bisphosphonates for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis: a retrospective, observational study, and a meta-analysis” has been published electronically ahead of print in Osteoporosis International. Quantify Research’s Linda Karlsson and Oskar Ström are among the co-authors of the paper.
