The Quantify Research Programs

We at Quantify are devoted in putting our knowledge and skills towards the best use. Below, we have collected information about some of our ongoing projects. If you want more information, please reach out to the contact person for each research program.

Asthma

The NORdic Dataset for aSThmA Research (NORDSTAR) is a Nordic-wide, population-based dataset including individual-level data on asthma patients and provides unique insights into the natural history of asthma and the development of severe asthma. NORDSTAR is a unique multi-party collaboration between Nordic clinical asthma experts, Quantify Research and the pharmaceutical industry.

Cardiovascular Disease

Quantify’s CVD research program is aimed at providing greater understanding of the clinical and economic burden of CVD, treatment patterns, and incidence of key outcomes of interest, including major cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. This enables us to, for instance, analyse treatment patterns and Health Care Resource Utilazation (HCRU) over time.

Chronic Liver Disease

Quantify is actively engaging in retrospective research in the field of chronic liver disease, and Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), in particular. Quantify has initiated a large retrospective study, HERALD, together with Karolinska Institutet, Department of Medicine, Huddinge.

Parkinson’s disease

Q-PARK contains real-world, nation-wide data from Parkinson’s patients and controls in Sweden with information on healthcare visits, medication use, demographics, and socioeconomics. This enables us to better understand patients and, for instance, analyze the number of healthcare contacts patients with PD have. Furthermore, Q-PARK enables us to analyze treatment patterns.

Psoriasis (PsO) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA)

Quantify maintains up-to-date, population-based RWD from Sweden that is immediately available in-house, called Q-PsO and Q-PsA.
