The paper “Association of Skin Psoriasis and Somatic Comorbidity With the Development of Psychiatric Illness in a Nationwide Swedish Study” by Quantify’s Kirk Geale and coauthors has been published in JAMA Dermatology. The study found that skin psoriasis has a negative impact on mental health, but other physical illnesses can be even more impactful. The study’s findings reinforce the need for holistic care of psoriasis patients.
