Parkinson’s is a progressive incurable brain disease estimated to affect more than 10 million people worldwide. The disease affects physical movement, but it also exacts a social toll. Sufferers drop activities, relinquish long-held roles to their spouses, and can suffer from depression.
In the Quantify research program on Parkinson´s disease we, amongst other things, analyze treatment patterns and the number of healthcare contacts to get a better understanding of patients and their lives.
