Recent use case
It is well known that too few patients with fractures are being prescribed fracture risk reducing drugs in line with treatment guidelines. Typical health economic assessments do not adequately address this issue which is critical for patients and caregivers. In collaboration with medical experts and Amgen, Quantify recently developed Qfront application demonstrating the benefits of fracture liaison services in Sweden. Here, the potential benefits of improving undertreatment on a regional and national level are presented in a clear and understandable way, and was used in discussion with various stakeholders including healthcare providers, payers and policy makers – with great feedback.
