After several days of insightful discussions, reconnecting with colleagues, and exchanging perspectives on the future of HEOR and RWE, we are now heading home from ISPOR 2026.

It has been a highly productive meeting for both Kelsi Smith, Puneet Kaushik and Abraham Choong, and also for our colleagues across the athagoras Group.

A special thank you to Agata Daroszewska for organising the booth and helping create a great meeting point throughout the conference.

It was also a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues we do not often get the opportunity to meet in person:
Giuseppe Pileggi, Mattias Kyhlstedt, Thomas Frei, Chus Castillo Gutierrez, Agata and Thomas Ecker.

One thing became increasingly clear throughout the meeting:
The conversation around RWE, affordability, transparency, AI, and decision-grade evidence is continuing to evolve rapidly across the healthcare landscape.

Over the coming days, we will share some of our reflections on the recurring themes discussed at ISPOR 2026 and what they may mean for the future of evidence generation and healthcare decision-making.

Safe travels to everyone heading home from ISPOR.
