Quantify’s Olivia Ernstsson will give an online presentation of her PhD thesis ‘Making use of patient-reported outcome measures in health care: the case of EQ-5D in the Swedish national quality registries’, on the 15th of October, at 14.00–15.30. The presentation will be part of the Network for Health Economics, NHE, organized by the SBU, Statens beredning för medicinsk och social utvärdering (Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Assessment of Social Services)
Olivia will present the methods and results of the four studies included in her thesis. These studies aimed to: provide an overview of the collection and use of EQ-5D in the Swedish national quality registries; to better understand patients’ thoughts when reporting and valuing their own health; to examine and compare the measurement properties of EQ-5D-3L and EQ-5D-5L; and to estimate health effects after treatment using EQ-5D as an outcome measure.
