The day featured several thought-provoking presentations with highlights including:

👉 Assessment of treatments in Finland is constantly evolving, with an increasing focus on national cost-effectiveness. The event highlighted Palko’s progress over its first ten years in the evaluation of treatments and creation of service portfolio recommendations.
👉 The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM) is initiating a study on the organizational model for healthcare technology assessments (HTA). where Finland will look for organizational models from relevant reference countries (including Denmark, Norway, and England) and use them as inspiration for developing its own model.
At Quantify we keep constantly up to date with the latest in the Finnish HTA environment.
