MeMed Diagnostics have announced that the European Commision has awarded €2.3 million to support AutoPilot-Dx, an international consortium with members from leading medical centers and industry that is coordinating the deployment of ImmunoXpert™ in Europe. The two-year award was granted through the Horizon 2020 Fast Track to Innovation Pilot, which recognizes outstanding business innovators. ImmunoXpert™ is an innovative diagnostic test that uses the body’s own immune system to accurately distinguish between bacterial and viral infections. The new grant will facilitate introduction of ImmunoXpert™ at additional leading medical centers, with the goal of monitoring the management of 1,200 children with respiratory tract infections or fever without source. Quantify Research is a partner in the consortium, in charge of conducting health economic analyses and crafting a reimbursement strategy.
