Supplementation with nutritional vitamin D may be useful to prevent PTH levels from increasing
A meta-analysis conducted and co-authored by Quantify’s Joel Gunnarsson and Rosa Lauppe shows that supplementation with nutritional vitamin D is not effective in reducing parathyroid hormone (PTH) in patients with non-dialysis chronic kidney disease.
