The 29th of October is World Psoriasis Day dedicated to patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and this year’s theme is United. Quantify has been highly active in psoriasis research and other activities to support patients.
One example of this research was highlighted earlier this year when Quantify’s CEO Kirk Geale was interviewed by the Swedish Psoriasis Association (Psoriasisförbundet) about his research published in JAMA Dermatology. In this work, the team showed the extensive mental health burden experienced by psoriasis patients extends far beyond the skin. This work utilized Nordic registry data and scored in the top 5% of all research output based on engagement according to Altmetric.
Quantify also helps patients access medicines through our work developing economic models and reimbursement applications.
Our ongoing research programs, Q-PsO and Q-PsA, contain extensive data on 200,000 psoriasis and 50,000 psoriatic arthritis patients.
