Thank you to everyone who made this year’s ISPE such a rewarding event.
Highlights from the Quantify team:
🧠 Emilie and Kirk’s session on extending inference from randomised clinical trials (RCTs) to the real world showcased several approaches in external control arms (ECA) and transportability analyses. We were excited to share real examples of both. Bridging RCTs with real-world data (RWD) is critically important to enable regulatory, payor, and clinical relevance.
🧠 In the debate, Kirk argued for why the traditional hierarchy of evidence needs to be replaced, citing both theoretical and practical challenges with its implementation. The live debate format was lively and a lot of fun, we appreciated all of the audience engagement. We hope we were able to convince attendees that a new evidence assessment framework is needed – and we were gratified that the final audience poll indicated that the majority are ready to move forward.
💬If we didn’t manage to connect during the busyness of the conference, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
