We are pleased to welcome Volmar Kaipainen to Quantify Research as a Research Associate, based in our Helsinki office.
Volmar holds a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics and a master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Helsinki.
He has worked with real-world data (RWD) for around two years across projects at the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) and Helsinki University Hospital (HUS).
His research interests focus on healthcare analytics and statistical methodology, particularly:
➡️ Learning heterogeneity in treatment response using RWD
➡️ Analysing outcomes in heterogeneous patient populations
➡️ Applying statistical methods where RCT inclusion criteria limit generalisability
Outside work, Volmar enjoys summer 🏍️ motorcycle road trips and exploring nature with the family dog 🐕; a very Nordic way to recharge.
